You want to brown them in a skillet just until there is a little color on each side.

Made this recipe tonight and though the pork chops were dry, I’m still giving it 5 stars because of the flavor! In light of other comments, I think I did something wrong. You don’t give a time amount for browning of the chops first… I browned for 3+ minutes on each side… do you think that could be the problem? Or maybe my crock pot, cooks a little too hot to have kept them in for 6 hours. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated Sarah since I will definitely be making this again. Thanking you in advance ~ Gee

Fantastic recipe. Loved the onions and the taste of the worchester sauce. I will have to confess to including half a can of Cream of Chicken soup to thicken the gravy. Wonderful flavors and the most tender chops I have ever cooked.

The butter is part of the sauce ingredients -you can double the onions too if you really like onions.

In reply to Sarah Olson.

Just made this today. I added mushrooms and carrots and then a couple of hours before it was finished, I added asparagus. It was a huge hit! So good! This is going on rotation.

If you’re tired of dried out pork chops, you got to try this – they turn out succulent and tastefully
seasoned. Now I have added thick boneless pork chops to my list of meals! Love those seasoned,
caramelized onions too! Thank you, Sarah! Linda

I fixed the confusion about that, this recipe may be too “wet” to add foiled baked potatoes in. I would do them in the oven.

Can you really make them in the Crock Pot?

This recipe was delicious. The chops were tender and seasonings made it very tasty. The onions were nicely caramelized. I also added a few red and green bell pepper strips. About an hour before the pork chops are done, I added fresh sliced white mushrooms.

Excellent. Took advice from prior post and doubled the sauce ingredients. My wife who doesn’t like onions, eat every bit of the meal. Now in my meal rotation. Thank you for this recipe.

The pork was moist & so tender. I think I would double the scrumptious sauce & add another onion. I never cooked with apple cider vinegar before. it brightened the sauce & so good over the pork & onions. This is a keeper. Thank You@

I think it will still be great without the brown sugar.

I’m wondering if I can make this successfully without the brown sugar?

This recipe was wonderful. Followed it almost exactly only used bone in pork chops and added fresh sliced garlic. My Honey loved it and said it’s a keeper. Thanks for the recipe!
